Park Slope is a historic Brooklyn neighborhood, roughly bordered by Flatbush Avenue to the north, 15th Street to the south, Prospect Park West to the east and 4th Avenue to the west; situated south of the neighborhoods of Boerum Hill and Gowanus.

The neighborhood is characterized by its historic brownstones and buildings, and is known for its top-rated restaurants, bars, and shops along 5th and 7th Avenues. It is also known for its excellent public and private schools and is conveniently located next to Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, the Brooklyn Museum, the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, and the Central Brooklyn Public Library.

It is easily accessible by the F & G trains at the 7th Avenue and 15th Street-Prospect Park stations, the F, G, D, N & R at the 4th Avenue-9th Street station, the B & Q at the 7th Avenue (Brighton) station, and the 2, 3 & 4 trains at the Grand Army Plaza station.
